General Guidelines for opening and closing are:
* Pool hours may vary for three swim meets, pool rentals, and special events.
* Opens when above 70 degrees, closes when below.
* If lightning or threatening weather is in the area, we will close immediately.
* If due to weather and there are fewer than 20 people in the facility, the pool will close.
* Listen to KOEL, 92.3 FM or 950 AM, the aquatics center answering service, or city hall for updates.

Water Aerobics
This program is designed to trim and firm the body, increase endurance and flexibility and enhance the cardiovascular system. No swimming abilities required. Instructed by aerobic certified instructors.
Where: Oelwein Family Aquatics Center
Amy Rau Monday and Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm
Glenda Rosenstiel Tuesday and Thursday 12:00-1:00pm
Fee: $3.00 admission fee, or season pass

Adult Lap Swimming
Swimming uses almost every muscle group in the body and will help improve cardiovascular endurance and tone the body, as well. Adults only.
Where: Oelwein Family Aquatics Center
When: Daily, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Fee: $3.00 admission fee, or a season pass

Pool Party/Private Rental
Make your special event more exciting with a pool party. Groups may rent the aquatic center for private parties on Saturday mornings from 10:00-noon or after hours from 8:30-10:30 p.m. It's a great idea for birthday parties, family reunions, and company get-togethers. Pool Party Prices - including water slide:

The miniature golf course isn’t included in a rental agreement, However provisions may be made to open the golf course at the following rates: $1.00 per 18 holes (discounted from $1.50 for 18 holes)

OFAC Birthday Parties
This is a new service provided by the Oelwein Family Aquatics Center (OFAC) staff. During a pre-scheduled Birthday Party, you will receive at the concessions stand a personalized cake, pizza, chips and Pepsi products for 8 people. Dates: Dates must be reserved a minimum of 48 hours in advance. (This serves as a no refund date.) Time: These may be scheduled at the OFAC. Fee: $35.00 for 8 Fee: $50.00 for 16. American Red Cross Swim Lessons
These will be given at he the Oelwein Family Aquatics Center. All of the Levels work on different skill moving upward in numbers. Pick up forms at City Hall.
