City Park Campgrounds

Located near the intersection of Highways 150 and 281 Oelwein City Park Campground offers 40 electrical and water camping sites. Lake Oelwein offers great scenery and good fishing on the jetties of this “no wake” lake. Conveniently located in the center of the campground is a shelter and playground. A modern restroom and shower facility compliment the campground. There is also a dedicated area for tent/primitive (no electrical or water) camping.

Kayak and Paddleboard rentals are also available for your enjoyment on Lake Oelwein.  Each will come with one paddle and personal flotation device.   Rentals are available through the Campground Hosts and are for use on Lake Oelwein only.           lake oelwein 11
