Household Hazardous Waste Day

The Fayette County Solid Waste Management Commission will hold a household hazardous waste event from 12:00- 5:30 PM on October 3, 2025 at the Fayette County Transfer Station. This is for Fayette County residents only. (No farm, business or non­profit waste will be accepted.) 

This event is for collecting household hazardous wastes (HHW) free of charge to prevent contamination of water sources and child poisoning. HHW includes household cleaners, solvents, paints oil (no latex), paint removers, lacquers, thinners, herbicides, pesticides, gasoline and diesel additives. 
All materials collected will be recycled, used for energy, and/or disposed of properly.
