Oelwein Pedestrian Access Route Transition Plan

The City of Oelwein is creating an Oelwein Pedestrian Access Route Transition Plan as required by the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT). Public feedback is required of the plan. If you have feedback on accessibility to Oelwein's public buildings, or city sidewalks, please provide it to the city using this form or scanning the QR code. In the supporting documents is a draft plan. The final plan will be adopted by the city council on September 28, 2026. Please complete the form by September 23, 2026. This plan is required as part of the state/federal funding received to construct the 10^th Street SW bridge.
