Part-Time Librarian

The Oelwein Public Library is taking applications for a part-time librarian. The primary duty of this position is to establish a high level of customer service by positively interacting with patrons at the circulation desk. This position is for approximately 22 hours per week with some evening and additional weekend hours. 

Hourly rate starts at $14.42 per hour. After one year of employment, benefits include three paid holidays, one week vacation (pro-rated), Wellness Center and pool pass, and IPERS.
 

Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency with computers and electronic devices. Ability to troubleshoot technology related questions. Previous public library experience preferred. Required to be a high school graduate or G.E.D. equivalency.
