Young Eagles Flying Event

On Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 8AM to 12PM, area children have the opportunity to learn about flying and receive a free airplane ride at the Oelwein Municipal Airport. Each flight will be 15 to 20 minutes. Flights will first head to Highway 3, then turn right heading to Westgate. From there another right will be taken towards Maynard and then flights will head south to return to the airport. Photos are encouraged during the flight. Free refreshments will be available.
